What To Bring and Expect

We will provide all the tackle and bait and it will be first class. You will need to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera, light jacket or other weather appropriate clothing, and a cooler for your catch. I will provide ice for the trip. You will need to bring any drinks or food that you want.

Upon returning to the dock, fish will be cleaned for a nominal fee.

You can expect to have a great time on any of our charters and catch fish. I will do all that I can to make your trip enjoyable and successful. To help prevent seasickness, I make the following recommendations:

  • Get a good night's rest. I can help with accommodations.
  • Limit alcohol consumption the night before.
  • Eat a light breakfast, nothing greasy.
  • Take a Bonine tablet the night before and another the morning of the trip.
  • Relax and enjoy!

Bonine is the best pill form, over the counter. Dramamine is the worst, it is a poor seasickness medication and the side effect of "sleepiness" can ruin your fun as well. I have a couple of Sea Bands, the electronic watch, that work well for most people and can be used in conjunction with other medications. If you are one of those persons that say "I always get seasick," you can get your doctor to prescribe a Scopolamine patch or pill (Scopace). I recommend you try one before your trip to make sure there are no adverse side effects.
